Mingdun Made a Speech on the Dilemma of Applying the Crime of Concealing the Proceeds of Crime to 

Diverted Drug Cases

On December 23, 2023, four lawyers from Mingdun Law Firm, including Liu Jinzhu, Zhang Lin, Wang Hui, and Qu Miao, participated in the Second Seminar on the Theory and Practice of Governance of New Types of Crimes as representatives of the members of Beijing Criminology Research Society.

This seminar was organized by the Beijing Criminology Research Society, with the theme of "Exploring the Crime Governance System in the New Era and Serving the Rule of Law in the Capital". Superiors from the Supreme Prosecutor's Office, the Supreme Court, the People's Public Security University of China, the Chinese Society of Criminology and other relevant organizations attended the conference and delivered keynote speeches.

Mingdun lawyer Liu Jinzhu made a speech on the dilemma of applying the crime of concealing the proceeds of crime to diverted drug cases in the sub-forum of "Theory and Practice of Food and Drug Crime Governance". The speech introduced the history of the application of the crime of illegal business operation in drug fraud cases, the change of relevant laws, the problems of the application of the crime of concealment of proceeds of crime and the solution of relevant problems.
